National, 14 August 2026: Reaffirming its commitment to accessible rehabilitation and disability inclusion, Narayan Seva Sansthan successfully concluded a nationwide series of free Narayan Limb and Caliper Fitment Camps across Bengaluru, Delhi, Pune, Coimbatore, Mumbai and Hyderabad. The multi-city initiative benefited approximately 3,300 persons with disabilities, providing them with advanced prosthetic care and comprehensive rehabilitation support.
As part of the initiative, more than 1,570 artificial limbs and calipers were fitted and distributed across the camps. In addition, nearly 700 beneficiaries were measured for customised Narayan Modular Artificial Limbs, ensuring that they continue to receive personalised mobility solutions beyond the camp period.
Hyderabad recorded the highest volume of assistive-device distribution, where 815 Narayan Modular Artificial Limbs and calipers were fitted for 745 beneficiaries. Bengaluru followed with 602 assistive devices fitted for 558 beneficiaries. In Delhi, 162 customised artificial limbs and calipers were fitted for 140 beneficiaries, while Mumbai saw 154 prosthetic limbs fitted for 104 beneficiaries, helping them move towards greater independence with renewed confidence.
To date, Narayan Seva Sansthan has provided free artificial limbs to more than 40,403 persons with disabilities and over 4.01 lakh calipers, while more than 454,585 people have received free medical treatment. Through its sustained rehabilitation and healthcare initiatives, the organisation has helped thousands of persons with disabilities move towards greater self-reliance, dignity and social inclusion.

Powered by advanced Japanese and German prosthetic technology, including precision-engineered 3D-printed modular artificial limbs, the camps combined innovation with compassionate care. Beneficiaries also received physiotherapy, gait training, counselling, assistive-device orientation and post-fitment support, helping them achieve better mobility and greater long-term independence.
With every camp, Narayan Seva Sansthan continues to bridge the accessibility gap for persons with disabilities. Its efforts go beyond restoring mobility, focusing equally on rebuilding confidence, dignity and the ability to lead an independent and productive life.
Recognised at the highest national level, NSS founder Kailash Manav Agarwal was honoured with the Padma Shri in 2008 by then President Pratibha Patil for his contribution to social service. Continuing this legacy, NSS President Prashant Agarwal was honoured with the National Award in 2023 by President Droupadi Murmu for his contribution to the empowerment of persons with disabilities.
