Bedi Steels Limited, a manufacturer and supplier of high-quality steel and alloy ingots, today announced that the production at its new rolling mill located at Ludhiana, Punjab will start from April 2025. With a total capacity of 70,000 tonne per annum, the new facility will manufacture products such as Round Bar, RCS/ Square Bars, Hex Bars and Flat Bars. This forward integration will enable the company to pursue a new growth trajectory, shifting towards the supply of value-added products.
Built with an investment of ₹13.49 crore, the new facility is equipped with the latest technologies in metallurgical processing and automation. The new products manufactured at this mill will be supplied to forging companies to produce components and parts used in different industries.

The Ludhiana-headquartered company operates a manufacturing plant, which is strategically located at Doraha Village, Ludhiana, in Punjab, having a total area of 13,750 square yards. It has one shed exclusively for manufacturing and storing ingots, measuring 320*80 Sq. Feet. The shed houses two furnaces of 10 tonnes each.
Bedi Steels Limited manufactures steel and alloy ingots under the brand name "Bedi". Ingots (also called as 'Mother Product) are blocks of metal cast into convenient shapes for storage, transportation, and used to manufacture a wide range of products such as metal sheets, rods, bars, wires, and components for machinery and electronics through processes like casting, rolling, forging, and extrusion. Bedi Steels supplies its products to forging companies in Ludhiana, Jalandhar and Mandi Gobindgarh in Punjab.
