KrishiGRO, an innovative startup working on revolutionizing the agritech industry with sustainable farm machinery, organized the Sustainability Pledge– a youth sensitization event aimed at inspiring young minds to embrace eco-friendly practices, promote innovative thinking, and make a positive impact on our planet. Held at the Jamia Senior Secondary School, New Delhi, the event took place on Children’s Day and was supported by the Alumni Association of Jamia Millia Islamia (AAJMI) and the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE), Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI).
The two-day event featured a Poster-Making Competition for students of Class 9 and 10, as well as an Essay Writing Competition for students of Class 11 and 12, held on 13th November 2024. On the following day, the program concluded with a Sapling Plantation Drive, a Sustainability Pledge, and a Felicitation Ceremony. Notably, the saplings planted during the event were sourced from the fields where KrishiGRO’s innovative Solar-Powered Electric Multi-Utility Vehicle (eMUV) was field-tested.
