Rajasthan Minister of State for Revenue and Kotputli–Behror District In-Charge Minister Vijay Singh on Tuesday held a pre-budget public consultation at the Collectorate auditorium, engaging with stakeholders, representatives of organisations, and subject experts to gather suggestions ahead of the upcoming state budget.
Addressing the meeting, Minister Vijay Singh said that over the past two years, under the guidance of the Prime Minister and the leadership of the Chief Minister, the state government has implemented budgetary provisions with a strong commitment to prioritising all sections of society and translating development plans into action. He assured that no shortage of resources would be allowed in ensuring the holistic development of Kotputli–Behror district and added that the government has significantly strengthened the district’s basic infrastructure.
He stated that the objective of the pre-budget dialogue is to ensure broad participation so that, through collective suggestions, a budget can be framed that opens new avenues of development for both the district and the state, enabling Rajasthan to achieve comprehensive growth across sectors.
Key Suggestions from Stakeholders
During the meeting, representatives from the Bar Association, medical fraternity, mining sector, advanced agriculture, consumer forums, tax consultants, sports and youth groups, education sector, trade and industry, NGOs, and gaushalas presented sector-specific suggestions. Among the key demands were proposals for a permanent solution to water scarcity in RIICO and other industrial areas, and the expansion of land-related facilities in industrial zones. These suggestions were prominently raised by Neemrana Industry Association President K.K. Sharma and other industry representatives.
The district in-charge minister listened attentively to all inputs and assured participants that sincere efforts would be made to incorporate viable suggestions into the forthcoming state budget.
Highlighting central government initiatives, Vijay Singh informed that under the “Viksit Bharat–Ji Ram Ji Yojana,” the Centre has increased employment guarantee days from 100 to 125. He added that development plans will now be prepared at the gram panchayat level through gram sabhas, with timely wage payments and greater use of technology to strengthen implementation.
