Hyderabad, 22 June 2026: KLH Hyderabad marked the 12th International Yoga Day 2026 across its campuses, bringing together students, faculty, staff members, and NCC cadets to promote holistic well-being through yoga, mindfulness, and fitness activities.
The celebrations transformed KLH Bachupally, KLH Aziznagar, and KLH Global Business School into vibrant hubs of wellness, with participants engaging in yoga sessions, breathing exercises, meditation practices, fitness activities, and awareness programmes aimed at encouraging healthier and more balanced lifestyles.
At KLH Bachupally Campus, a two-day programme held on 20 and 21 June under the guidance of Dr. L. Koteswara Rao, Principal, featured cultural performances, self-defence demonstrations, and an interactive wellness workshop by the New Monks Kung Fu and Yoga Organisation. The Department of Physical Education also conducted fitness sessions focusing on endurance and physical conditioning. The event concluded with addresses by Guinness World Record Holder Dr. K. Raja and Dr. L. Koteswara Rao, followed by the felicitation of student volunteers.
At KLH Aziznagar Campus, the Department of Physical Education organised celebrations aligned with the global theme, "Yoga for Healthy Ageing," under the guidance of Dr. A. Ramakrishna, Principal, College of Engineering, encouraging participants to embrace yoga and mindfulness for lifelong well-being.
Meanwhile, KLH Global Business School, Kondapur, conducted a wellness session under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Anand Bethapudi, Dean, where Mr. Krishna, Yoga Trainer, introduced faculty and staff members to yoga, meditation, and breathing techniques for stress management and improved focus.
