Despite the ongoing heavy rainfall in the Jodhpur region over the past two days, the teams of Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam (Discom) have remained on high alert, working tirelessly on the ground. While normal life has been disrupted due to the torrential rains, the Discom officials and technical staff continued their field visits to ensure uninterrupted power supply. Notably, women engineers also played an active role in the field during the rains, contributing equally to fault detection and power restoration efforts.
Incidents of fallen electric poles and technical faults in transformers were reported during the rains. However, the Discom teams responded promptly, initiating repair work without delay. Their swift action and dedication provided much-needed relief to consumers during these testing times.
