Jamia Millia Islamia(JMI) started a six-day training program for teachers of the Anglo Arabic Sr. Secondary School, Shafiq Memorial Sr. Secondary School and Anglo Arabic Model School for their capacity building in Online Teaching on 17th December,2020. These three schools are run by Delhi Education Society (DES).Prof. Najma Akhtar, Vice Chancellor, JMI and President of the Delhi Education Society inaugurated the training program which is being provided in three groups viz. Science, Social Science and Language.
During the training program teachers will be trained in creation and dissemination of e-contents, alternative online strategies, using online platforms for conducting online classes through Google meet, Google classroom, Zoom, Skype etc. Prof. Mohd. Muslim Khan, Manager, Anglo Arabic Sr. Sec. School presided over the inaugural function. Prof. Ahrar Hussain, Secretary, DES and Manager of Anglo Arabic Model School briefed about the purpose and significance of the training program.
The inaugural function ended with a vote of thanks by Dr. Abdul Naseeb Khan, Manager, Shafiq Memorial Sr. Sec. School.Inaugural function was attended by Dr. SK Naqvi, Hony. Director CIT,JMI, Mohd. Waseem Ahmad, Principal, Anglo Arabic Sr. Sec. School, Dr. Zahid Khan, Principal, Shafiq Memorial Sr. Sec. School, Ms. Farha Sajid, Principal, Anglo Arabic Model School and teachers of the three schools.
