On 13th May, 56 schools in Jaipur metropolitan area received an email stating about the presence of explosives in the schools.
On being informed of the same, squads were dispatched to these locations to check for suspicious objects or devices, and wherever the checks have been completed, no suspicious objects were found.
The email has been generated from a single source, whose identity is being established, and strictest action would be taken against those elements. We would like to reassure the citizens of the city that we are fully vigilant and alert. There is no cause for fear or panic.
