On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, girl students from government schools in Jaipur tied rakhi to President Droupadi Murmu and Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma. Four students from Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls’ School, located in the village Panwalia of Bagru, had the opportunity to tie rakhi to President Murmu. Nodal Principal Pooja Jhajharia accompanied the girls.
The ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan saw participation from selected girls from 17 states of India, including Rajasthan. Students from Sanganer Block tied rakhi to the President, wishing her a long and healthy life.
At the Chief Minister’s Residence, during the Raksha Samman ceremony, 231 girl students and 8 teachers from PM Shri Government Model Girls’ Senior Secondary School (Gangauri Bazaar), Mahatma Gandhi Government School (Jadia Colony Raj Bhavan), Shaheed Lieutenant Abhay Parik Government Girls’ Senior Secondary School (Gandhinagar), and Maharaja Government Girls’ Senior Secondary School (Chhoti Chaupad) tied rakhi to Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma.
