Clay Craft India has started production at its new manufacturing facility in the Manda Industrial Area, Jaipur, strengthening its position in India’s ceramic tableware sector.
The new plant, spread across 1,00,000 sqm, has begun operations with a daily production capacity of 50,000 ceramic tableware pieces. Once fully operational, the facility is expected to manufacture over 2 lakh pieces per day, nearly tripling the company’s existing production capacity.
Clay Craft Director Bharat Agarwal said the company is witnessing strong domestic demand along with rising global sourcing interest from India. The company’s existing Vishwakarma Industrial Area unit currently produces more than 1 lakh pieces daily.
The Jaipur-based company said the new facility features advanced automation technologies including automatic cup plants, flatware machines, automated glazing lines, and imported kilns aimed at improving production efficiency and quality standards.
The expansion is also expected to generate significant employment in the region. The company said the new unit currently employs over 400 workers, including a substantial number of women employees. Over time, the workforce is expected to increase to more than 1,500 people.
Clay Craft stated that the facility aligns with the government’s “Make in India” initiative and will also support local communities through CSR programmes such as tree plantation drives, blood donation camps, and healthcare support initiatives.
The company currently holds nearly 25% share of India’s ceramic tableware market and produces around 10,000 metric tonnes annually.
