The much-awaited trailer of Ikkis, directed by National Award–winning filmmaker Sriram Raghavan, is finally out — offering a powerful glimpse into the extraordinary life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, India’s youngest Param Vir Chakra recipient.
At just 21 years old, Khetarpal’s bravery during the 1971 Indo-Pak war became the stuff of legend. His valour and sacrifice inspired the film’s stirring tagline — “Woh Ikkis ka tha, Ikkis ka hi rahega” — a tribute to the hero who lived, fought, and fell at 21, yet remains immortal in the nation’s memory.
The trailer weaves together an emotional and patriotic narrative, reflecting Raghavan’s signature storytelling style — gritty realism combined with deep human emotion. It traces Arun’s journey from a spirited young cadet to a soldier whose courage redefined heroism.
Agastya Nanda, portraying Arun Khetarpal, delivers a striking performance that showcases both vulnerability and valor. After his debut in The Archies, Ikkis marks his first solo lead role — a defining moment in his emerging career.
The film also stars Dharmendra, Jaideep Ahlawat, Sikander Kher, and debutante Simar Bhatia, bringing together a powerful ensemble cast.
With Ikkis, Sriram Raghavan makes his return to the big screen after Merry Christmas, promising a moving cinematic experience grounded in emotion and authenticity.
Produced by Maddock Films in collaboration with Jio Studios, Ikkis is set to release in December 2025.
