Nifty Next 50 came under selling pressure today led by metals and cement names. HINDZINC and VEDL witnessed the sharpest declines. Most other losers saw relatively contained moves as volumes remained healthy in key counters.
Nifty Next 50 Losers HINDZINC plunged -5.8% to ₹568.8 on strong volume. VEDL dropped -4.11% to ₹314.05 with very high turnover. JINDALSTEL fell -2.51% to ₹1167.2, while AMBUJACEM declined -2.4% to ₹416.1.
Other Notable Declines SHREECEM slipped -1.67% to ₹24075, TMCV fell -1.51%, and ENRIN closed -1.34% lower. LTM declined -1.27% to ₹4016.
Mild Movers INDHOTEL dropped -1.2%, MUTHOOTFIN fell -1.2%, VBL declined -1.12%, and TATAPOWER closed -0.88% lower.
