Jaipur, 22 August 2024: According to Somkant Sharma, State Secretary, Hindu Spiritual and Service Foundation (HSSF) and Cultural and Moral Training Initiative Foundation (IMCTF), a mass movement has been called to protect the environment. As a pre-programme of the fourth Hindu Seva Mela to be held between 26 and 30 September in Jaipur city, a cyclothon (cycle journey) will be organized from SMS Stadium to Albert Hall, Ramniwas Bagh at 9:00 am on 24 August.
Somkant Sharma, State Secretary, Hindu Spiritual and Service Foundation, said that the main objective of this cyclothon is to spread awareness about the environment and educate the society towards a carbon-free environment. As everyone knows, glaciers are melting and temperatures are constantly rising due to the increasing impact of carbon footprint. The aim of this program is that every person participating in it should use cycle at least one day in a week and should not use diesel-petrol vehicles for a day at their office, business center, school, college or other workplace.
The aim is to increase the sense of social concern and spread awareness in the society that life is incomplete without nature and it is our moral duty to protect nature. Hindu Spiritual and Service Foundation invites everyone to participate in this cyclothon. This program is not only to keep the body healthy but also to keep the environment clean and strengthen our relationship with nature.
More than 11,000 people are expected to participate in this cyclothon. President Mr. Subhash Bapna, Treasurer Mr. Dinesh Pitaliy, Vice President Dr. Sheela Agarwal, Joint Secretary Mr. Rajendra Singh Shekhawat, Mr. Chandra manohar Batwara Coordinator - Mr. Rakesh Dadhich, Dr. Shivam Agarwal and all the workers of Hindu Spiritual and Service Foundation, eminent citizens from the social and political field and environment lovers of the city will participate in this program.
