Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, while addressing the media, said that every person has to come forward to save nature. It is the moral responsibility of every human being to protect the environment. For environmental protection, we have to plant as many trees as possible. Protecting nature is not a personal but a collective responsibility. Along with planting trees, we will also have to take care of them continuously. CM Bhajanlal Sharma said that this rally is not just today's program. We always have to keep in mind how to improve the environment. How to reduce pollution. Today every person wants to travel in a car. But they do not see how much pollution is being caused by it. This responsibility is also ours.
Somkant Sharma, State Secretary, Hindu Spiritual and Service Foundation, said that a mass movement has been called to protect the environment. The fourth Hindu Seva Mela will be organized in Jaipur from 26 to 30 September. The main objective of this cyclothon is to spread awareness about the environment and educate the society about a carbon-free environment. Glaciers are melting due to the increasing impact of carbon footprint and the temperature is constantly increasing. The only way to get rid of increasing traffic pressure in the city, continuous deterioration of health due to the busyness of the common man in his daily work, air pollution caused by vehicle smoke, continuously increasing destructive carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is environmental protection. To make the city pollution free and to make the common people aware and make them feel responsible for cycling, a "Cyclothon" was organized from Amar Jawan Jyoti to Albert Hall Ramniwas Bagh. The objective of the program is that every person participating in it should use a bicycle at least once a week and not use diesel-petrol vehicles for a day at their office, medical center, school, college or other workplaces.
On this occasion, more than 10000 students and citizens gave the message of 'environmental protection' by cycling. Keeping the city pollution free is not only a personal but also a constitutional responsibility of every citizen. In Article 51A of the Constitution, responsibility towards environmental protection is mentioned in the duties of citizens. Through this rally, our objective is to encourage the citizens to use a bicycle at least once or twice a week.
The city's settlement density is high and most of the destinations are nearby, therefore cycling in Jaipur is easier than in other big cities. If need be, people should be made aware. On this occasion, RSS state campaigner Babulal, Jaipur MP Manju Sharma, State Minister for Sports, KK Vishnoi, MLA Balmukund Acharya, Deputy Mayor Punit Karnawat, Vice Chairperson ML Swarnkar, Mela Vice President Amit Agarwal, State President Subhash Bafna, Treasurer Dinesh Pitaliya, Rally Convener Rakesh Dadhich, Rally Co-convener Shivam Agarwal and other dignitaries were present. At the end, all the participants were also administered the oath to protect the environment.
