
Chief Commissioner of Commercial Taxes Shri Ravi Kumar Surpur informed that the total GST revenue earned by the Rajasthan Government in the month of October-2022 is Rs.3370.51 crore, out of which Rs.1228.88 crore has been collected as SGST and IGST payment of Rs.2141.63 crore. is included. This is the highest ever GST revenue collected by the state after the implementation of GST and this is the second time that the state of Rajasthan has crossed Rs 3000 crore in GST revenue collection.
He informed that there has been an increase of 36.60 percent in revenue collection in the state of Rajasthan in October-2022 as compared to October-2021. At the same time, in the financial year 2021-22, there has been a total increase of 33.02 percent in the net revenue collection of GST till October-2022 in the financial year 2022-23 as compared to the month October-2021.
According to the data released by the Government of India, the total cash collection of Goods and Services Tax in the month of October-2022 in the entire country has been shown to be Rs 151718 crore. In which the total increase has been shown to be 18 percent and in the state of Rajasthan 10 percent increase. It reflects the production, creation and value addition of goods and services in the state.
