Rajasthan Governor Shri Hari Babu Kambhampati expressed deep sorrow over the tragic bus accident that occurred in Manoharpur, Jaipur.
He prayed for peace to the departed souls and strength for the bereaved families to bear the loss. The Governor also wished a speedy recovery for those injured in the accident.
Meanwhile, the state’s Minister of Medical and Health, Shri Gajendra Singh Khimsar, also expressed profound grief over the incident. He prayed for eternal peace for the departed souls and strength for their families during this difficult time, along with speedy recovery for the injured.
The Minister spoke over the phone with Dr. Deepak Maheshwari, Principal of Sawai Man Singh Medical College, and Dr. Mrinal Joshi, Superintendent, instructing them to ensure prompt and best possible medical treatment for the injured.
A tragic incident of a bus catching fire has once again shaken Rajasthan. After the recent Jaisalmer accident, another horrifying case emerged from Manoharpur area of Jaipur district on Tuesday (October 28). A private bus came in contact with high-voltage electric wires, resulting in an electric current running through the vehicle.
According to Jaipur Rural Superintendent of Police Rashi Dogra Dudi, two people lost their lives in the mishap, while ten labourers sustained burn injuries. The accident occurred in the Manoharpur area under the Shahpura constituency of Jaipur district. The bus was carrying labourers to a brick kiln located in Todi, Shahpura. When the bus came in contact with a high-tension wire, it caught fire instantly.
Additional Superintendent of Police Tejpal Singh informed that the bus was transporting labourers from Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh, to a brick kiln in Manoharpur. The vehicle was also carrying a few gas cylinders and other household items. While passing through a dirt road near a village in Manoharpur, the items loaded on the roof of the bus touched the high-tension line, sparking a fire that engulfed the entire vehicle.
