October 29, 2025 | The News Strike
Precious metals extended gains in today’s global commodities session, with silver rising 1.08% to $47.54 per ounce and gold up 0.27% at $3,963.16 per ounce.
Futures mirrored the uptrend — Gold Futures climbed 0.06% to ₹119,715, while Silver Futures advanced 0.47% to ₹145,016.
Meanwhile, the energy market witnessed mild weakness. WTI crude (USOIL) slipped 0.28% to $6,004.7, and Brent crude December 2025 contract (BRENTZ2025) edged down 0.17% to $64.29.
The movement reflects investor preference for safe-haven metals amid global market uncertainty and moderating energy demand signals.
