Dr. Samit Sharma, Government Secretary Social Justice and Empowerment presided over the meeting on the subject of ‘Social Security and Women Empowerment’ of Group No. 5 constituted for effective implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 2030 in the state on Friday in his room located at Government Secretariat.
In the meeting, discussions were held regarding the vision document of the group related to goal number 5 (achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls) and goal number 10 (reduce inequality).The Government Secretary instructed all the departments present in connection with the vision document to update the vision document and prepare a new document incorporating the suggestions received in it and send it to the planning department.
Officers of various departments were present in the meeting.
