Diya Kumari on Tuesday inaugurated and laid the foundation for development projects worth over ₹20.76 crore in the Nathdwara विधानसभा constituency of Rajsamand, focusing on roads, education, tourism, and sports infrastructure.
The Deputy Chief Minister visited Khamnor Panchayat Samiti areas, including Gaonvguda and Railmagra, where multiple projects were launched to strengthen rural connectivity and public infrastructure.
In Gaonvguda, a government senior secondary school building constructed at a cost of ₹3.5 crore under the DMFT scheme was inaugurated. Additionally, an 8.5-km road project connecting T-10 Kesuli to NH-162E via Semal and Unwas, built at ₹6.78 crore, was opened for public use. A 1.5-km road project worth ₹30 lakh and a culvert construction project costing ₹20 lakh were also announced to improve local accessibility.
At Railmagra, a key 11-km road stretch from Nathdwara to Railmagra was inaugurated under the PMGSY-III scheme, developed at a cost of ₹7.73 crore. Other projects included a 1-km road from Rajpura to Surajbari Mataji (₹25 lakh), development of the Chawanda Mataji temple (₹1 crore), and a sports stadium built at ₹1 crore to enhance youth engagement and local sporting infrastructure.
Collectively, the projects cover over 22 km of road development and upgrades, alongside investments in education, religious tourism, and sports facilities.
Addressing the gathering, Diya Kumari reiterated the state government’s focus on strengthening rural infrastructure and expanding access to education, roads, and community facilities. She said the projects are expected to accelerate regional development, improve connectivity, and create new economic opportunities for local residents.
