Altcoins See Strong Weekly Momentum
Among major altcoins, Cardano was one of the few gainers in the latest session, rising 1.02% to $0.24773. ADA has gained 26.79% in a week and 9.07% over the month, although it remains down 25.54% YTD and 69.27% YoY.
Solana slipped 1.01% to $117.6174, but remains up 21.44% weekly and 23.17% monthly. XRP fell 1.16% to $1.51794, while Polkadot declined 0.43% despite a 27.23% weekly gain.
Avalanche recorded particularly strong momentum, with a 53.77% weekly gain and 46.84% monthly increase, despite falling 0.46% in the latest session.
Uniswap Leads Longer-Term Gains
Uniswap rose 1.21% to $9.12, extending its strong run. UNI is up 43.47% over the week, 101.80% over the month and 62.49% YTD. It is also 13.22% higher year-on-year, with a market capitalisation of approximately $5.64 billion.
Other notable figures include Litecoin at $60.982, down 1.74%, while Algorand fell 0.28% to $0.11. Polygon declined 1.33% but remains up 10.16% YTD.
The broader rally has been supported by renewed risk appetite, falling Treasury yields and short covering, while recent reporting has also pointed to strong institutional demand and Bitcoin ETF flows.
