29 June 2026: The cryptocurrency market traded higher on Monday, with Bitcoin reclaiming the $60,000 mark and Ethereum posting gains alongside most major digital assets, indicating a broad-based recovery in early trading.
Bitcoin rose 0.90% to $60,071, while Ethereum gained 0.99% to $1,585.40. BNB (Binance Coin) added 0.48%, and XRP advanced 0.63%.
Among the top performers, Avalanche (AVAX) surged 2.98%, followed by Solana (SOL), which climbed 2.54%. Uniswap gained 2.30%, Algorand rose 2.26%, Polkadot advanced 1.75%, Litecoin increased 1.63%, and Cardano added 1.34%. Cosmos also traded higher, gaining 1.14%.
Polygon (MATIC) was the only major cryptocurrency in the list trading lower, slipping 0.69% during the session.
Despite the day's recovery, the broader cryptocurrency market remains under pressure over longer timeframes. Bitcoin is still down 18.65% over the past month and 31.43% year-to-date, while Ethereum has declined 21.49% over the month and 46.57% since the start of the year.
The latest price action suggests renewed buying interest across major cryptocurrencies, although most digital assets continue to trade well below their recent highs.
