Major cryptocurrencies traded higher on 1 July 2026, with Bitcoin rising 0.47% to $58,827 and Ethereum gaining 0.80% to $1,582.01, as investors cautiously returned to digital assets despite continued weakness over longer timeframes.
Solana emerged as the top performer among leading cryptocurrencies, advancing 1.20% to $74.43 and extending its weekly gain to 9.30%. Cardano climbed 1.73%, Litecoin added 1.65%, Avalanche rose 1.24%, Polkadot gained 1.06%, while XRP and BNB advanced 0.54% and 0.50%, respectively.
Despite the day's rebound, most major cryptocurrencies remain under pressure on a monthly and year-to-date basis. Bitcoin is down 11.87% over the past month and 32.76% year-to-date, while Ethereum has declined 14.90% monthly and 46.68% in 2026 so far. Solana, however, continues to outperform peers over the past week, highlighting selective strength in the broader crypto market.
