Jaipur, December 17: Chief Secretary V. Srinivas on Wednesday reviewed the progress of the Vikas Rath Yatra, night chaupals, and other public outreach programmes being conducted across all Assembly constituencies in the state. Emphasising wider public engagement, he instructed district collectors to actively promote development works and welfare schemes on social media platforms to ensure maximum reach among citizens.
The review was held at the Secretariat, where senior officials assessed the campaign showcasing the state government’s achievements over the past two years. The Chief Secretary stressed that these initiatives must be communicated effectively at the grassroots level and monitored rigorously.
Focus on Digital Visibility and Real-Time Monitoring
Directing all district collectors via video conference, Srinivas called for systematic monitoring of Vikas Rath Yatra activities and related public programmes. He underlined the importance of sharing updates on completed and ongoing development projects through photos and videos on social media.
He also tasked the district offices of the Information Technology Department with continuous monitoring of online content and regular updating of relevant data, ensuring accuracy and consistency in public messaging.
Showcasing Government Achievements to the Public
The Chief Secretary reiterated that programmes organised in districts—including Vikas Rath Yatra events and grievance redressal initiatives—should be documented and disseminated digitally. According to him, this approach will help convey the government’s work more transparently and effectively to the general public.
