
Bhartiya Skill Development University, Jaipur has signed a MoU with Banat University of Agriculture Sciences and Veterinary Medicines “King Michael I of Romania” from Timisoara, Romania. During the signing of the MoU, the members present were, from Banat University, Vice Rector of International Relations & Students Affairs, Prof.SorinStanciu, Erasmus and Institutional Coordinator Mr. Raul Pascalau and from BSDU, Vice Chancellor Prof. Achintaya Choudhary, Principal, School of Entrepreneurship Skills Dr. Ravi Kumar Goyal.
Under the MoU, with compliance to the Erasmus Programme, both universities will open their doors for students exchange and internship programmes for students as well as research, development and innovation programmes for the staff members of the universities for the school of Entrepreneurship Skills. An interactive session was also organised for the students of BSDU, where the team of International Relations and Student Affairs from Banat Universityexplained the whereabouts of the Erasmus programme and the benefits accruing out of it.
Dr. (Brig.) Surjit Singh Pabla, Pro Chancellor BSDU, said, “This MoU will be a great opportunity to give students and faculty at BSDU international exposure and a chance to explore opportunities and gain experience. Students and faculty will get a chance to get familiar with the education system and the training style in Romania. Moreover, the students and faculty at Banat University will also get the chance to come here at BSDU and learn about our Swiss dual system of education, along with our deeply rooted culture, among other things.”
Under the Erasmus plus KA107 Project, Principal of School of Entrepreneurship Skills, Dr. Ravi Kumar Goyal will visit Romania for one week for staff training from 27th November to 2nd December 2019 and this will be sponsored by ERASMUS Fund.
Dr. Ravi Kumar Goyal, Director, Admissions and Principal, School of Entrepreneurship Skills, said, “We will benefit from this opportunity and I will make sure that both universities blend well through this MoU. We will learn the techniques through which Romania trains its students and prepares them for their professional life ahead. I believe this MoU will give BSDU great opportunities to explore.”
