
The Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU), Israel is inviting applications from international students for the M.Sc. in Geological and Environmental Sciences.
The M.Sc. program at the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences is a research degree with thesis, designed to impart research skills and professional competence in a variety of fields in geology, earth and environmental science.
The disciplines studied in this department enable a deeper understanding of the processes operating on and beneath the surface of the Earth. Study and research facilities in earth dynamics, geochemistry, micropaleontology, engineering geology, and field measurements are cutting edge.
The program is subject to rules and regulations set by the Faculty of Natural Sciences, including awarding of credit points and eligibility for scholarships and teaching assistantships.
Program delivery:
The M.Sc. program requires two years of full-time study. Outstanding students may join the combined M.Sc.-Ph.D. track during the 2nd year of the M.Sc. studies. Students in this track join the Ph.D. program without submitting M.Sc. thesis.
Course dates:
The Fall Semester will begin October 23, 2022.

Tuition: The tuition for a single year for international students (in a 2-year program) is USD 5,000.
Requirements:
1. A B.Sc. in Geological and Environmental Science or in closely related fields, with a grade point average of at least 80 from an accredited institution.
2. A TOEFL score of at least 85/120 or equivalent score in an internationally recognized English proficiency exam is required.
