
After an exciting 16-day tournament between 160 teams across 10 districts in Uttar Pradesh, Asian Paints Ace Emulsion Bharat Super League 2019 powered by BKT Tires held a press conference in Meerut to mark the success of the initiative that received a massive local response from players and fans alike. Present at the event as Guest of Honor was Praveen Kumar, India’s renowned cricket player and former team member of the Indian cricket team.
To promote the home-grown sport andoffer local players a launch pad to fulfil their aspirations, Asian Paints undertook the stand to support this league and kick-start its second edition that fosters grass-root level Kabaddi and unearth young, local talent in India. The conference highlighted the interesting journey of the 16-day tournament of Asian Paints Ace Emulsion Bharat Super League in Uttar Pradesh. The district level matches were played at Saharanpur, Bijnor, Mathura, Baghpat, Bareilly, Amethi, Faizabad, Gorakhpur, Varanasi and Jaunpur.

____ District of Uttar Pradesh won the grand finale, lifting the trophy and claiming the title of the ultimate championship of Asian Paints Ace Emulsion Bharat Super League 2019 Haryana leg. The winning team won a cash prize of INR 31,000 and the runner-up, ____ District won a cash prize of INR 21000. The first leg of the tournament kicked off in Rajasthan in early May, followed by Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. The lastleg of the league is scheduled to be held in Tamil Nadu in July.
