Smt. Diya Kumari emphasized that all Anganwadi centres in the state must be developed into model centres. She instructed officials to conduct regular monitoring and directed district-level Deputy Directors to complete the survey of Anganwadi centres through the respective District Collectors at the earliest. Expressing displeasure over districts where repair work has not yet begun, the Deputy CM said that progress will be reviewed again within the next 15 days. She instructed that weekly progress reports on civil works must be submitted without discrepancies in data. Officials were also directed to expedite the tender process and commence construction work without delay.
The Deputy CM further directed Deputy Directors to remain active in the field to monitor works effectively. She stated that Anganwadi centres must be developed with adequate infrastructure and that district administrations should also mobilize resources for development through CSR funds, Disaster Relief Fund, District Mineral Fund, and international/MLA local area development funds, in addition to the state budget.
