The 3rd Edition of Miss Trans Queen India 2019 was declared today at Dilli Haat, Janakpuri. Nithu RS from Karnataka, Bangalore was announced the winner; First runner up Shaily Rai from Chhattisgarh & 2nd runner up was Bonita Singh rajpurohit from Jodhpur. In an emotional moment Miss Trans Queen India 2018 Veena Sendre crowned her successor. Amongst the 11 participants, Nithu won the judges hearts and also won the Best Evening Gown title. The winner received beauty treatment voucher worth Rs 60,000 from Derma Circles by Prateek Sondhi& free surgery from Synergy Cosmetics Surgery Clinic, Surat Gujarat by Dr Navtar Patel.

The participants wore the glamorous and elegant collections designed by IIFA, Jankapuri and were ranked on the basis of behavior, body language, facing camera, personal interview, talent, introduction, etiquettes, fitness & knowledge. The Trans Women infused style & hotness quotient & displayed their talent & beauty at the event. These transwomen had come to participate from all over India including Mumbai, Chhattisgarh, New Delhi, Bangalore, Udaipur, Kolkata, Chennai & other cities.
The transwomen were taught on the nuances of make-up such as applying foundation, blusher, mascara, learning different styles of hair dress, walking the ramp with high heels thus taking care of skin & fitness. Some of them also enrolled for beauty & makeup academy or worked in beauty parlours. The transwomen participants also frequently accessed YouTube and referred to the tutorial videos available.
The participants talked about their intense preparation with each of them undergoing intense training sessions by experts. The mentors & judges include Anjali Gopalan – Founder and executive director of Naaz Foundation, Celebrity Chef Manoj Rai – Zee TV Abu Dhabi and Co-Founder of MTQI , Rita Gangwani, Pageant coach ; Shaine Soni, ace fashion choreographer and celebrity stylist; Amruta Soni – First Transgender government officer; Akassh K Aggarwal – LGBTQ rights activist; Dr. Varun Katyal , celebrity nutrition and beauty expert & Dr.Prateek Sondhi, celebrity cosmetology and aesthetic expert, Ms Jacqueline Jindal, Founder of Garnet & Gold & Managing Director of MTQI.
