Jaipur, June 10 – In preparation for the upcoming monsoon season, Jaipur District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni has issued an order appointing the Additional District Magistrates (ADMs) of Jaipur City North, South, and East as the overall in-charge officials for disaster management in their respective areas.
As per the directive, the appointed officers will ensure that road-cutting permissions are granted only when absolutely necessary during the monsoon period. Additionally, a copy of any such permission must be sent to the respective police stations. This is to ensure that any road cuts are properly refilled and that public movement is not disrupted.
The officers are also tasked with maintaining close coordination with officials from the Municipal Corporations (Heritage and Greater), Jaipur Development Authority, Jaipur Metro, BRTS, and the Public Health Engineering Department. They are required to oversee and ensure timely and effective on-site action with due vigilance. Furthermore, they must keep the undersigned (District Collector) regularly informed of the actions taken.
