10 pilgrims were killed and many more injured in a horrific attack on Sunday in Jammu and Kashmir. A bus carrying pilgrims was ambushed by terrorists as it traveled between the Shiv Khori temple and the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine.
CCTV footage has recently come to light, revealing the moments leading up to the deadly assault. The terrorists opened fire on the bus as it rounded a bend near Teryath village, a tactic used in past attacks in Rajouri and Poonch.
Taking advantage of the slow-moving vehicle, they unleashed a barrage of gunfire before disappearing into the dense mountain foliage, a strategy that has become increasingly common in the Jammu region. The mountainous terrain provides the attackers with cover, making it difficult to track them down.
