Mumbai, 18 October, 2021: UPL Ltd., a global provider of sustainable agriculture products and solutions, has seen breakthrough results with its product “ULALA” in sucking pestmanagement(like aphids) in crops like cotton. The quantified benefits of “ULALA” as observed by farmers include an additional income of about Rs 10,000- 34,000/- per acre in different crops upon using two rounds of “ULALA” against untreated control in target crops.
“ULALA” is an intrinsic part of cotton farming every year because of its low dose of application, excellent control, favorable cost benefit ratio and safety profile for farmers and environment, “ULALA” has become the preferredsucking pest solution.
In the recent past, some exploration of efficacy levels on treatment of black aphid on other crops like cumin, fennel, and isabgol has shown fantastic results!
UPL has applied for registration on these crops for Ulala, which would allow it to take the results of this exploration to farmers across the country. Once the registration is received as per due process, UPL aims to educate farmers on Black Aphid Management using “ULALA”andthe merits of it’s applicationon crops like cumin, fennel, and isabgol.
