Uttar Pradesh Government yesterday presented the biggest ever budget for state. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath dedicated the budget to the youth of the state and said that schemes like YUVA hub and Chief Minister’s Apprenticeship Scheme will provide employment to the youth of state.
AIR correspondent reports that the budget has crossed 5 lakh crore limit for the first time and it is in tune of more than 5 lakh 12 thousand crores for fiscal year 2020-21. State Government has come up with many schemes for youth in this budget. An apprenticeship scheme for the unemployed has also been envisaged that earmarks monthly assistance of 2,500 rupees for each youngster opting for job training in state industries. It also proposed to set up the YUVA or youth hubs in each district to assist entrepreneurs, with a total allocation of 1,300 crore rupees meant to be spent on them.
Keeping an eye over the Aviation sector, which can provide large number of jobs to youth, the government has allocated 2,000 crore rupees for setting up a new airport at Jewar in Gautam Budh Nagar district. The budget also set aside 500 crore rupees for developing an airport at Ayodhya.
