Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board and Narayan Seva Sansthan took environmental protection oath on World Environment Day on Thursday. During the program, participants took an oath to protect the environment by carrying out tree plantation activity. While taking this oath, the importance of plantation of trees and keeping our surroundings green was rightly highlighted as we all are encountering the negative change in weather due to global warming. It was iterated during the session that saving the environment and the need to save forests is a high priority to retain greenery.
According to Prashant Agarwal, President, Narayan Seva Sansthan, “Greenery is imperative to weather the storm of development. Every year, there is growth in the percentage of pollution. The effect of which can be seen on health of children, youth and the elderly which is why tree plantation practice should happen more often so that our future generations can breathe in clean air.
Narayan Seva Sansthan, which is based out of Udaipur in Rajasthan, has operated over 3.5 lac patients in last 30 years. By birth or due to accidents, people lose their limbs which makes them dependent on others. An artificial limb not only improves their mobility but also makes them independent by instilling a new confidence. Artificial limbs make their normal day-to-day activities less tedious. The activities, which seem challenging or difficult, are much easily executed with the addition of artificial limbs.
