HPCL Rajasthan Refinery’s heaviest and most important single equipment weighing 1000 MT has been installed, while almost all the project facilitation activities of the refinery have accelerated by accelerating the work. This information was given in the virtual meeting of the Board of Directors of HPCL Rajasthan Refinery at the Secretariat on Monday. Additional Chief Secretary Mines and Petroleum Dr. Subodh Agrawal informed that 55.10 percent work of refinery has been completed as physical progress, whereas till now Rs 63 thousand 318 crore has been released. Purchase orders have been issued. He told that till October 15, Rs.22040 crore has been spent on Rajasthan Refinery. In the meeting of the Board of Directors, Refinery Director Shri S. Bharatan, CEO HRRL Shri Kamalakar Vikhar, CEO Shri Umesh Agarwal and Company Secretary Shri V Murali participated from the Secretariat while Chairman, Refinery Shri Pushp Joshi virtually participated.
ACS Mines and Petroleum Dr. Subodh Agrawal informed that HPCL Rajasthan Refinery being the dream project of the State Government, with the commissioning of this refinery, the economic scenario of Rajasthan will change. Because the petrocomplex is developing along with the refinery, where by-products units will be set up and this will open new opportunities for investment and employment. He told that one thousand M/s in the refinery premises. Despite being a challenging task to transport a single tonne of equipment, it is a great achievement to successfully install and transport this equipment to the refinery after covering a distance of 558 kms in ten months.
Dr. Agrawal informed that the work of all 13 mechanical units of HPCL Rajasthan Refinery is going on as per the roadmap. Necessary infrastructure facilities like hospital, school, road, plantation and other similar works are also proposed in the refinery area, so that better infrastructure facilities will be available to the residents of the area. He asked the refinery officials to complete the refinery work within the stipulated time frame, emphasizing on quality.
Shri Pushp Joshi, Chairman, HPCL Rajasthan Refinery informed that the refinery work has gained momentum and 38 LSTK orders have been issued for all major process units and packages. He informed that the emphasis has been laid on quality along with fast lending of all the 13 process units.
Director Refinery Shri S. Bharatan, CEO HRRL Shri Kamalakar Vikhar, CEO Shri Umesh Agarwal and Company Secretary Shri V Murali informed that the construction work of all three cross country pipelines of the refinery viz. water pipeline, crude oil pipeline and Arab mix crude oil pipeline is going on in full swing. .
