The Champion of 4th Edition of Vedanta Women’s League will be announced on 31st March during the closing Ceremony of the event at Duler Football stadium, Mapusa. The super Exciting month-long league tournament witnessed powerpacked football action. All 5 competing teams: Sirvodem SC, Goa United SC, Compassion FC, FC Goa, Futebol Club YFA showcased high quality Football, while striving to earn the ‘Champions’ title of prestigious Vedanta Women’s League. The winners and star performers of the league will be felicitated during the closing ceremony in the distinguished presence of Chief Guest Mr. Annanya Agarwal, President, Vedanta Sports, Mr. Lavino Rebello, Vice President- GFA. The closing ceremony will be organised strictly adhering to Social Distancing norms and maintaining minimal Physical presence at the Venue.
Sirvodem SC is at the top of the point table with two matches remaining which will be played on 31st Morning session at Navelim, Margao and Duler football grounds respectively. Vedanta Women’s League is first of its kind platform for aspiring women Footballers in the state to pursue the professional career in Football. Since last 4 editions of Vedanta Women’s League over 350+ Women Footballers participated in the league.
