Alwar: Under the Ekal Abhiyan in Rajasthan, the Shrihari Sanskar Shiksha Nav Chaitanya Varg is being organized from May 17 to June 1, 2026. In this 15-day training camp, tribal and rural volunteer workers from various districts of Rajasthan are participating and receiving training aimed at social and cultural awakening.
The camp has brought together participants from districts including Barmer, Jalore, Udaipur, Pali, Baran, Bharatpur, and Alwar. During the training, special guidance is being provided on topics such as the upliftment of rural and tribal communities, social harmony, de-addiction, and connecting devotion to God with patriotism.
A Campaign of Values and Awareness Reaching Every Village
The training program educates volunteers on bringing positive social change through initiatives such as daily and weekly satsangs, village storytelling sessions, Shrihari Rath Mandir, Hanuman Parivar Yojana, and Shabari Basti Yojana. The campaign aims to expand values-based education, social awareness, and cultural development in rural and tribal regions.
Ekal Abhiyan Began in 1989
According to available information, the Ekal Abhiyan was launched in 1989 in Dhanbad district of Jharkhand. It was initiated under the guidance of senior Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) pracharaks Bhaurao Deoras and Madan Agrawal.
Between 1989 and 1999, various pilot initiatives were conducted in Jharkhand and Odisha. Later, in 1999, the campaign was expanded to a nationwide level through the efforts of senior RSS pracharak Shyam Ji Gupta.
At present, educational and value-based development activities are being carried out in approximately 80,000 villages across India through Ekal Vidyalayas and thousands of Sanskar Kendras.
Guidance from Senior Functionaries
Several senior functionaries are providing training and guidance during the Nav Chaitanya Varg, including Rameshwar Dayal (Head of Intellectual Enlightenment, Central Unit – Surat, Gujarat), Mukesh Agrawal (Camp In-charge), Saurav Kalra (Camp Coordinator), Girdhari Lal Mishra (Divisional Rath Utsav In-charge), Ramakant Gupta (Regional President), Pawan Goyal (Village Development In-charge), and Dhanpal Singh (Regional Campaign Head).
Through this training camp, participants are being introduced to various dimensions of social service, nation-building, value-based awakening, and rural development, enabling them to work more effectively in their respective areas and contribute to the upliftment of society.
