Jaipur 04 February 2025: The third day of the Nine Dot Squares Design Festival has received a lot of love from the people of Jaipur. On the third day of the Nine Dot Squares Design Festival, along with the villagers, the Dangi Sisters also performed folk songs in Bawdi Baisa Prahladpura village. The villagers welcomed everyone by singing Ramdhuni. Everyone is surprised to see this design festival because this design festival has been created in a unique style. In the festival, a different kind of jugalbandi with clay was seen for the visitors. In which the experience of making art with clay by closing eyes thrilled the audience. People from all sections participated in this workshop.
The Design Festival held at RIC has left an impression in the minds of all the visitors who came here. In this three-day festival, the craft of India got a new dimension. In which more than 60 stalls graced this design festival. In this, traditional craftsmanship was shown with modern design. Along with this, the unique presentation of handmade products was seen and bought by the audience. Under this, people saw and appreciated the different products displayed here along with Mochi Taka, Ainakari, Metal Thukai, Pichwai Painting, Brass and Stone Inlay.
Curator Shagun Singh said that Nine Dot Squares, realizing a unique concept, has prepared cartography map, street play and cultural programs to create awareness about more than ninety stepwells in and around Jaipur to give visitors a complete experience through a show in this design festival.
Architect Akanksha Modi, also known as Bawdi Baisaa, said that on the occasion of Basant Panchami, Rang De Basanti festival was organized in the Bawdi of Prahladpura village. Nine Dot Square Jaipur Heritage Foundation and Bawdi Bhaisaa jointly organized 'Rang De Basanti', all this happened in Prahladpura Bawdi with the help of 'Seva City'. The surrounding community participated in it with great enthusiasm and in today's program also the villagers welcomed everyone by singing Ramdhuni. The program was organized in the Bawdi itself. In this program, along with the villagers, Dangi Sisters also presented folk songs and along with this we all had a very good experience of sound bath therapy. Here the villagers and the urban people were all enjoying the music together and everyone also tasted the food prepared by the local people there. Everyone was sitting together, dancing, singing and enjoying their time in the Bawdi, as if they had forgotten everything and were immersed in fun."
What was special today - Rang De Basanti Culture Walk Bawdi Prahladpura, Jaipur Virasat Foundation and Bawdi Bhaisa organized 'Rang Dai Basanti' together, all this happened in Fehalgpura Bawdi with the help of 'Seva City'.
