In Bihar, the campaign against single used plastic will begin today. Mass Awareness Campaign will be launched by holding Swatchha Hi Seva campaign from today till 1st of October from Urban areas to villages.
Under this campaign, single used plastic will be collected at ward level and it will be sent to collection centres of local bodies for recycling. Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar said, single use plastic will be seized after this campaign. He said, plastic carry bags in state have already been banned in the state. There will be complete ban of single used plastic at Patna junction from today.
