Tata Power Solar unveils its residential solar rooftop campaign #PledgeForSolar
Tata Power Solar, India’s largest solar energy company, and Tata Power’s wholly owned subsidiary, launches its pan India residential solar rooftop campaign. The campaign has been flagged-off from the holy-city Tirupati to inspire the residents across the country to implement residential solar rooftop solution. This campaign intent to cover 100 cities across India and expected to save up to Rs. 50,000 per 5kW per year. Prof N. N. Kishore, Dean, Indian Institute of Technology, Tirupati along with other senior dignitaries from the government and key decision makers from the corporate industry who also graced the launch event with their presence.
To support the campaign and create further awareness on the drive, Tata Power Solar is organizing a cycle rally in the city where the local residents will be informed on the benefits of adopting solar energy. Along with this, the initiative has a native connect where the consumers will understand the importance of renewable energy. #PledgeForSolar inspires the people of India to accept the positive change and move towards the solar energy usage.

Recently, Tata Power Solar successfully executed 400 MW installations in Pavagada Solar Park. Apart from these, Tata Power Solar comes with a successful background of executing World’s largest Rooftop at a single location and India’s largest carport at Cochin International Airport. Tata Power Solar joined hands with Cricket Club of India and installed the World’s largest solar powered Cricket Stadium Mumbai, in a record period of 100 days.
