Jaipur, July 22: Rajasthan Police Headquarters has invited applications for the recruitment of five Young Professionals on a contractual basis as part of an initiative to strengthen modern, technology-driven and data-based policing.
The initiative, launched on the initiative of Director General of Police Rajiv Kumar Sharma, aims to bring specialised young professionals into key areas including crime data analysis, implementation of new criminal laws, road safety, drug control and artificial intelligence.
According to Additional Director General of Police (Crime) Bipin Kumar Pandey, one position each will be filled for Crime Data Analyst, Monitoring of New Criminal Codes, Road Safety, Drug Control and AI. Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly honorarium of ₹45,000, with appointments being made for one year at Rajasthan Police Headquarters in Jaipur.
The selected professionals will work on analysing crime data, including crimes against women and children; monitoring the implementation of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam; analysing road accident data; studying drug trafficking networks; and promoting the use of artificial intelligence-based technologies in policing.
