The medical condition of 84-year old former President Pranab Mukherjee has declined since Sunday.
He is in septic shock due to lung infection and is being managed by a team of specialists at the Army Hospital in Delhi.
The latest medical statement of the hospital states that Mr. Mukherjee continues to be in deep coma and is on ventilator support.
He was admitted to the hospital on 10th of this month and was operated for removal of a clot in the brain.
