After a major battle with Covid-19, a new battle for petrol began in India. Every day petrol prices are rising like the stock market. Today, the price of petrol in Ganganagar (Rajasthan) is Rs. 97.73 per liter. Poor people face problems like unemployment, starvation, education, health, but now petrol is taking a new place as a new problem for people in India.
The state government is questioning the central government and raising questions about the intent of the central. Meanwhile, people are suffering from daily petrol hike as the household budget is also increasing. A few days back, #PetrolPrice was trending on Twitter but no government came forward to solve or give its justification.
Governments have a high time to consider and bring in a scheme to reduce the burden of taxes and petrol prices from the shoulders of common people as people in India do not have RBI at their home. The slogan of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas and the promises of the state government before the elections point to only false promises and not result-oriented.
