NTPC Tamil Nadu Energy Company Limited pays Second Interim Dividend for FY 2021-22 to NTPC Limited
New Delhi, December 30th, 2021: NTPC Tamil Nadu Energy Company Limited (NTECL), a JV Company of NTPC Limited &TANGEDCO (50:50) paid Second interim dividend ofRs135,09,30,543/- (net of TDS) for the Financial year 2021-22 towards NTPC’s Limited50% share.
Shri Ramesh Babu V., Chairman, NTECL&Director (Operations), NTPC had presented the Cheque to Shri Gurdeep Singh, Chairman & Managing Director, NTPC on 28th December 2021.
Shri C K Mondol, Director (Commercial) , Shri U K Bhattacharya, Director (Projects),Shri KedarRanjan Pandu, CEO NTECL, Ms. Nandni Sarkar, CompanySecretary, NTPC and Shri Amit Garg, CompanySecretary, NTECL were also present on the occasion .
The Interim dividend is also been paid to other Joint Venture partner viz. TANGEDCO on its shareholding of 50% in NTECL.
The total interim dividend paid to its promoters for the Financial Year 2021-22 is Rs 488 crore which is the highest ever interim dividend paid by NTECL since inception.
