Simultaneous Elections Not in Favor of BJP
Initially, there were reports that Nitish Kumar had proposed holding elections simultaneously in the state if an alliance was formed with the BJP. However, the BJP did not agree to this proposal. Bihar BJP leaders have ruled out the possibility of holding assembly and Lok Sabha elections simultaneously. While initially, the BJP aimed to secure the Chief Ministerial post, it has now accepted Nitish Kumar's demand for the Chief Ministerial position. Under the new formula, Nitish Kumar is set to be the Chief Minister of Bihar in the BJP-JDU coalition.
