
J&K: One Army Jawan martyred when Pakistani troops violated ceasefire in Poonch district

In Jammu and Kashmir, one Indian Army Jawan got martyred when Pakistani troops violated ceasefire and resorted to indiscriminate and unprovoked firing on Indian forward posts and civilian areas in border district of Poonch today. The exchange of firing was still going on.
Earlier, defence spokesperson told AIR Jammu correspondent that at about 1 PM, Pakistani troops targeted Indian forward posts and civilian areas by firing small arms, and also resorted to shelling the main Pooch area with mortars. However, Indian Army retaliated befittingly.
