Jaipur, India – JECRC University recently welcomed Nitin Jagad, Brand Reputation Consultant and Branch Head at Adfactors PR Rajasthan, to conduct an insightful workshop on brand reputation management. The event was designed to provide Mass Communication students with hands-on experience in handling brand reputation risks, preparing them to navigate real-world challenges with confidence.
During the workshop, Mr. Jagad engaged with students, sharing his expertise through real-life case studies. He discussed the principles of brand reputation management and provided valuable insights on managing communication strategies in the face of brand risks. Students gained practical knowledge on how brands can protect their reputation in today’s rapidly evolving media landscape.
A key highlight was the competition segment, where students were tasked with managing over 30 brand reputation risk situations in groups. Each group developed messaging solutions and presented them through Instagram Reels, showcasing their creativity and problem-solving skills. This activity tested the students’ ability to think on their feet and adapt communication strategies for digital platforms.
The competition was judged by a prestigious panel including Nitin Jagad, Prof. Narendra Kaushik, Dean, School of Mass Communication, and Prof. Shailendra Bhati, Head of the Mass Communication Department at JECRC University. The jury praised the students for their innovative approach and their understanding of the nuances involved in protecting a brand’s reputation.
