Jaipur, September 4 — Under the leadership of Health Minister Shri Gajendra Singh Khimsar, recruitment efforts in the Medical and Health Department are being expedited on a mission mode. Following the minister's approval, the final merit list for 3,671 Female Health Worker positions was released on Wednesday. The swift placement of these health workers is set to bolster healthcare services at the grassroots level, reaching villages and rural areas more effectively.
The Health Minister highlighted that the recruitment drive is being executed with commitment, as championed by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. He commended the efforts of department officials and the entire team for accelerating the recruitment process. Congratulations and best wishes were extended to the selected candidates and their families.
Additional Chief Secretary Mrs. Shubhra Singh shared that the recruitment process for over 20,000 positions across various roles in the State Health and Family Welfare Institute (SHIFU) is progressing rapidly. Among these, the final merit list for 3,671 out of 4,847 Female Health Worker positions has been approved by the Health Minister. She elaborated on the thorough procedures followed, including addressing grievances from the interim merit list, verifying academic records from other states, and validating experience certificates and RN/NC registrations.
The remaining 1,176 positions are pending due to ongoing verification of experience, academic records, sports certificates, and disability certifications. The results for these positions will be announced once the verification process is completed.
