Future Generali India Insurance to conduct awareness camps in 4 districts of Rajasthan
Future Generali India Insurance Company Limited (FGII), the general insurance arm of the joint venture between retail gamechangers Future Group and global insurer Generali is organizing awareness camps starting from 23rd July in Jalore, Ajmer, Kota & Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan. FGII has been authorized by the Government of Rajasthan to implement Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana Scheme (PMFBY) in Kharif season for Loanee and Non Loanee farmers.The 10 Van Campaigning teams left for their respective locations after flag off from Future Generali’s Jaipur office.
PMFBY offers end-to-end insurance covers by providing financial support to the farmers against losses/damage of crops arising out of unforeseen events during the entire cycle of the crop. Activities like dance acts and street plays will be performed in these villages to promote PMFBY. The street plays will be based on the importance and the benefits of having coverof PMFBY.
Dr. Shreeraj Deshpande (Principal Officer), Future Generali India Insurance Pvt Ltdsaid, “Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana Scheme (PMFBY) is in line with Government’s ‘Minimum Premium, Maximum Insurance for Farmers’ theme and with these roadshows, our aim is to educate farmers in remote areas about PMFBY, which will help them to protect their crop and seek some financial stability too.”
