Dice Media, the content studio of Pocket Aces and creator of relatable hits like Little Things, Adulting, and AFK, has launched its latest mini-series, Girlie Pops, in collaboration with Maybelline New York. With Girlie Pops, the studio brings the struggles of Gen Z adulting to the forefront, capturing them with warmth, humour, and authenticity.
The story follows two contrasting personalities who are roommates: Prakriti (Ankita Chhetri), a corporate employee chasing her influencer dreams, and Ira (Devishi Madaan), an HR professional recently heartbroken and navigating online dating. As they stumble through their own versions of adulting, an unexpected friendship becomes their strongest support system.
Speaking about the show, Vishwanath Shetty, D2C Head at Pocket Aces said, "With GirliePops, we wanted to capture the real, everyday chaos of Gen Z and how they find their way through adulting together. It's rooted in the humour, vulnerability, and comfort that sisterhood brings. Collaborating with Maybelline New York, a brand that personifies Bold Confidence & Self Expression, made it even more special."
