DCM Shriram Ltd donates 2.85 lakh liter of Sodium Hypochlorite to fight COVID-19 in Rajasthan

Shriram Fertilizer and Chemicals, a unit of DCM Shriram Ltd. announced its initiatives to help Rajasthan Government combat COVID-19 pandemic. The company has donated approximately 2.85 lakh liter of Sodium Hypochlorite (Disinfectant) to the Rajasthan government to help sanitize the entire state.
The company has repurposed its manufacturing facility in Kota (Rajasthan) to produce Sodium Hypochlorite, a disinfectant used to sanitize surfaces. The disinfectant is being distributed to all 33 districts of Rajasthan by the State Government and State Health Departments. The spraying of the disinfectant has already started in the districts.
The company continues to work across its communities to educate and spread awareness on the prevention measures for Covid-19. It has also distributed preventive masks, sanitation kits, soaps, hand sanitizers and ration to the communities in order to support people during this outbreak.
Shriram Fertilizer and Chemicals (A unit of DCM Shriram Ltd) , has been operating over the last 50 years in Kota, Rajasthan and as part of its Corporate Social responsibility has been working with the communities to create an impact in areas of Sanitation , Water conservation, Preventive Healthcare and Livelihood.
